At Community of Faith our kids (Age 4 through 5th Grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
We would love to see you and your family!
Safety Info:
All of our volunteers and staff are background checked and go through extensive training that follows
our Child and Youth Protection Policy.
WHAT TO EXPECT…
Before service:
Once you receive a nametag from one of our greeters, follow the signage and head down the hall to our Children’s Ministry Check In area. Someone will be there to help you. A nametag with a code will be provided for you and your child (so we know who belongs to who at pick up!). You can then find your seats in the sanctuary. Your child can sit with you or go to the designated attended kids area in the sanctuary where the children can sit together for worship.
During service: After the first two songs, welcome, and prayer we will invite the kids to exit the sanctuary and down the hall to our classrooms escorted by our Children’s Ministry Team. If your child needs you for any reason during the service we will text the number that we received at check-in (please keep your phone handy).
After the service:
Signage will be posted to direct you to the proper classroom to pick up your child outside the exit doors. Nametags will be checked prior to releasing your child, so please be sure to keep on hand until the end of service.
Kids welcome in service!!!
Kids are always welcome to stay for the whole service. If your child makes noise or has the wiggles that is okay! We know that it can be hard as a parent to navigate those times where it feels like everyone is looking at you. Know that it is completely okay to head out into the lobby or hallway if you need to at any time.
Communion
At Community of Faith we take communion every week. If your child remains with you during the service they are welcome to take communion. Also, on the first Sunday of the month the kids come back into the service to take communion.
